MPD Summer Crime Prevention Kickoff

• Location: 401 Mississippi Avenue, SE (Simon Elementary School Ball Field)

The Metropolitan Police Department will be hosting their Summer Crime Prevention Kickoff with a baseball game at the ball field by Simon Elementary School in southeast DC. The MPD Knight Hawks will be playing the WPGC-FM Naturals. There will be prizes/giveaways, a moon bounce, health screenings, and food, as well as opportunities to learn what summer activities are still available for children, teens, and adults! Also, residents can come learn about discounted Internet and computer offers and the Connected Communities Initiative at the Connect.DC’s Mobile Tech Lab!
